Peter joined SGH Associates in 1985 when he apprenticed under Bill Surre for over a year. Prior to that, Peter was the Bond Manager for USF & G in New York City. Peter started his career in 1979 with the Aetna Casualty and Surety Company as a Bond Underwriter. Peter is a recognized expert in the field of Surety Bonds and has been interviewed and quoted in trade publications. Peter earned an MBA Degree (Master of Business Administration) from Adelphi University, Garden City, New York in 1983. Peter recieved his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from the Business School at the State University of New York in Albany in 1978.

Bob obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Stockton State College in Pomona, New Jersey in 1985. He started his career in the Bond business in 1986 as a Bond Underwriter Trainee for Aetna Casualty and Surety Company in the New York City branch. Bob stayed with the organization for the next seventeen years as Aetna was purchased by Travelers, and then Travelers merged with and was later spun off from Citigroup. During that time he held various positions of increasing responsibility within the Aetna/Travelers Bond Underwriting Field organization which culminating with his assignment as Bond Manager for the Long Island Branch office from 2000 to 2003. Bob joined Surre, Goldberg & Henry Associates as the manager of the bond department in 2003.
